Cultural Exchange Shines Through Asian Food Festival and Cultural Night

Haemi, South Korea, November 6, 2025 — On the sixth day of WE Connect: Pilgrims of Hope, the program highlighted cultural exchange, creativity, and fellowship, as participants celebrated the richness of Asian traditions through food and performance.

2025년 11월 6일, 해미 - 여섯째 날은 아시아의 다양한 문화를 나누는 축제의 하루였습니다.

The morning began with hands-on learning as delegates prepared traditional Korean dishes, gaining insight into local culinary practices and sharing the joy of cooking together.

오전에는 한국음식인 김밥과 떡볶이를 직접 만들어 보는 체험을 하였습니다.

In the afternoon, the Asian Food Festival brought the flavors of Asia to life. Each country and region showcased their beloved traditional snacks, generously sharing them with fellow participants. This interactive experience allowed delegates to celebrate diversity while strengthening bonds across cultures.

오후에 진행된 Asia Food Festival은 각 나라에서 주로 먹는 음식을 직접요리하고 나누어 다양한 음식문화를 체험할 수 있는 시간이었습니다.

The evening culminated in a vibrant Cultural Night, featuring colorful performances, music, dance, and other talents from all participating countries. Delegates proudly shared their cultural heritage, creating an atmosphere of joy, friendship, and unity.

저녁에 진행된 Cultural Night에서는 각국의 음악, 춤, 전통 공연 등을 공유하며 11개국의 문화와 전통을 체험하고 청년들의 에너지를 느낄 수 있었습니다.

Through these activities, the sixth day reinforced the program’s mission to foster intercultural understanding and appreciation, while deepening the sense of community among young pilgrims of hope.

이날 활동을 통해서 서로의 문화를 보다 깊게 체험하고 우정을 나누며 공동체 의식을 돈독히 할 수 있는 의미있는 시간을 가질 수 있었습니다.

WE CONNECT: Pilgrims of Hope (Day 7)

Haemi, South Korea, November 7, 2025 — The final day of WE Connect: Pilgrims of Hope celebrated reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment as participants prepared to return to their communities as young leaders of faith and hope.

2025년 11월 7일, 해미 - 마지막 날은 참가자들이 각 나라로 돌아가기 전 이번 프로그램을 돌아보고 서로에게 감사의 인사를 전하는 시간이었습니다.

The day began with an evaluation session, where delegates reflected on their experiences, personal growth, and the lessons learned throughout the week-long program. Following this, participants engaged in the “Attitude of Gratitude” activity, writing heartfelt messages to fellow pilgrims and companions who had made their journey meaningful.

오전에는 프로그램 동안 본인이 느끼고 배운 점을 돌아보고 친구들에게 감사 인사를 전하는 활동을 하며 서로의 우정을 다지는 시간을 가졌습니다. 또한 프로그램과 시설에 대한 전반적인 만족도 조사도 함께 진행하였습니다.

The program concluded with a Closing Mass, sending the young pilgrims forth with blessings and encouragement to continue living out the spirit of hope, unity, and service in their communities and beyond.

프로그램의 마지막으로 진행된 파견미사에서는 프로그램에 참가한 아시아 11개국의 청년들이 앞으로 희망, 일치, 봉사의 삶을 살아갈 수 있도록 격려하면서 마무리되었습니다.
